DJBroadcast interactive multimedia Iphone Application
For Dutch dance magazine and platform DJBroadcast I have just finished building their multimedia interactive iPhone app. With the DJBroadcast iPhone app it is possibly to explore the huge amount of quality content DJB produces, mainly on their site and magazine on the road and in a, I must say, comfy scrollable iPhone app.
The application is a co-production between Paul from 310K (design), Matthijs from Storyteller Web (API) and myself: putting it all together in a working iPhone app.
The free iPhone app for DJBroadcast has ubercool functionalities such as:
- Explore all DJBroadcast articles and reviews
- Comment via the app on the DJB-site, share on Facebook, Twitter (with built in url shortening) or via email
- Tune into DJBroadcast FM
- Check out the partypictures in the partyshots gallery
- Play the DJBroadcast podcasts
Furthermore, as DJB editors tend to share a lot of Youtube, Vimeo and Soundcloud embeds on their regular site, I made it possible to also listen and/or see these embeds from within the iPhone app. This way the editors don’t have to think about what to publish on which platform (web/app), everything simply becomes available on all platforms.
